Yavapai Downs has a one mile oval dirt track with two chutes, one of two furlongs and the other six furlongs in length. The live racing season runs from May 24th to September 2nd and racing runs Saturday through Tuesday with a post time of 1.00pm.
Simulcast racing is broadcast throughout the year at Yavapai Downs, Admission is $6 for adults and just $3 for senior citizens whilst car parking is free of charge.
From I-17, exit Cordes Junction Highway 69. In Dewey, turn right on Fain Road to Hwy 89A. Go East on 89A 1 1/2 miles.
From Prescott, go North on Highway 89 to Highway 89A Junction. Yavapai Downs is 8 1/2 Miles east from the Junction.
